About Us
Born from a love of candles, Osie was established in 2020. Having always been a candle lover, some family and friends may have even called me a candle addict, I wanted to create a product that I was excited about.
When my twins were born in March 2020, at the beginning of a worldwide pandemic, I like everyone was spending allot of unexpected time at home. Trying to create a relaxed and calming home environment, I always had a scented candle on the go. It was during these first few months of motherhood that I started questioning what was in the candles I was burning. I like many others, came to the scary realisation that some of my candles were pumped full of horrible and harmful chemicals. So as a sleep deprived new Mum to twins, I created ‘Osie’ (Oscar & Evie) a candle brand with a desire to produce natural and family friendly candles.
As a farmers wife, I am lucky to live in beautiful rural Norfolk. As a family we have spent many weekends exploring the local countryside and venturing up to the Norfolk coast. I take inspiration from those surroundings to help choose the scents and colour for my candle containers. Each terracotta candle is scented with all natural scents and the containers are hand dipped in Farrow and Ball paint.
